Your Child’s First Visit to the Dentist

Icon Dental Studio provides gentle, preventive dental care for children and families in downtown Chicago. Our goal is to make early dental visits positive, educational, and comfortable for both children and parents.

During your child’s visit, we evaluate tooth development, review brushing and nutrition habits, and recommend preventive care such as cleanings, fluoride, or sealants when appropriate. We focus on building trust and helping children feel comfortable at the dentist.

Your first visit usually involves an informal introduction to the office and staff. Dr. Gandhi prefers to get to know your little one and get them well acclimated to her and the staff. This builds trust and comfort for both child and parent/caretaker.
